I started putting make-up when I was in college when "eyebrows on fleek" isn't a thing yet. I started with just mascara and eyeliner then eventually learned how to put lipstick. I remember one of my clinical instructors telling me and classmates to wear at least light make-up because we all look as pale and sick as our patients.
M. Wilson Salon & Spa celebrated their third year anniversary last Sunday and I was one of the lucky bloggers who got to try their services. I originally planned to go to SM Seaside that Saturday to have my old eyelash extensions retouched, it so happened I received an invitation from Ms.Gabe of M.Wilson Salon & Spa hence I decided to go there instead. Perfect timing, isn't it?
I've been in City Time Square countless times, but, it was my first time visiting the salon. The place was somewhat spacious and organized. As soon as you enter the door, you'll see the front desk on the right side and the hairstyling area just beside it. The mani-pedi area is on the left side as well as the rooms for facial and other services.

With the vlogger/blogger from Asia, Earl Christian Layese while waiting for an available technician. |
We had to wait for nearly an hour for the next available technician. Everyone was so busy attending to their clients and there were lots of people at the salon since it's their anniversary. I don't think you have to wait that long on normal days, though.
I was the first one to had my lashes done, but Earl came with me to take photos and had a little chitchat with the Ate technician. I wanted natural looking lashes so I chose the 8mm length. I forgot to ask whether it's "B" or "C" curl, but, I think it's the former. It took her at least an hour to finish doing my extension and when I opened my eyes, I looked like I applied my mascara evenly!
Wish this is how my lashes looked normally. Like I was born with great lashes. I love how the technician did it. It's my third time getting my lashes done and I love how beautiful they turned out but, honestly this one's way better than my first two. The strands were properly glued to the roots of my original lashes, I could barely feel I have extensions and they lasted longer too.
If you guys are curious about what it is like to have eyelash extensions, M.Wilson Salon & Spa is currently having an anniversary promo for most of their services including eyelash extensions for only 500 pesos with free hair blow-dry.
They are located at Unit 205 & 206 2nd Level, City Time Square (beside Park Mall in Mandaue City). You can check them on Facebook or call +639 366 082 075 for more information.
Has anyone else tried eyelash extensions? Where do you normally get it done?

DeleteThe eyelash extensions glue needs curing time to cure onto the eyelash extension so taking a shower and washing your hair before your appointment is suggested.
